The Spawner Crafting System(SCS) on Terra is composed of Spawner Cores and Spawner Fragments that are obtainable from dungeon and/or player trading. As the above suggests, there are some very settle details that you should know about SCS.
There are two/three ways of obtaining spawner, depending on whether you own a premium rank.
You can still obtain naturally spawned spawners. You can mine the spawners with any tool of your liking. After the spawner is mined, it will drop a corresponding Spawner Core with Core Tiering.
However, if you own a premium rank, you can use a Silk Touch Pickaxe to obtain the spawner directly.
You can certainly get Spawner Core from naturally spawned spawners. However, you would still need Spawner Fragments from dungeons to craft them into one complete spawner. Spawner fragments have relatively high drop rate in dungeons so that they should be quite easy to obtain.
After having the required material, you can head over to /spawner
to craft your spawners!
Very different from vanilla spawner system, SCS has durability system. This means that after you place down the spawner, it will spawn certain number of mobs according to Core Tiering, and it will break. Upon breaking, it will return you the core that you can claim by using /rs claim
command. You will need to craft it again using /spawner
crafting system with additional fragments.
You can see how many claimable cores you have by using /rs listClaim
command.
Upon placing down a spawner, the SCS will start logging the number of mobs spawned from that specific spawner. However, considering the possibility that you might want to move the spawner location, SCS is euquipped with uses caching system. This means that if you break a previously placed spawner, you will get a spawner regardless of whether you are a premium rank, or using a silktouch pickaxe.
You will be able to check the remaining uses that spawner has by looking in the spawner lore.
Note that not all of the following spawners are craftible. This tiering means if you break a naturally spawner, that would be ther tier of the Spawner Core that you receive.
This is the list of cores and their corresponding uses, as well as mob types. You can also use the /rs tier tier1/2/3/4/5
command in game to obtain this information.
